Simple Sweet Treats

Paleo – will fix any sugar, chocolate or ice-cream craving, make as much or little as you want


Mango Coconut “Mousse”

  • 1 mango
  • 1/2 can coconut cream
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Fresh/frozen raspberries, banana and cinnamon or any other fruit to serve

Chocolate Banana “Mousse”

  • 2 ripe bannans
  • 2 tbsp 100% cocoa (no added sugar)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 vanilla bean, cut in half and scraped
  • Cinnamon to serve


  • Add all ingredients to mixmaster and pulse together. Add honey/coconut cream to either as your tastes desire 
  • Pour mixture into ramekins and place in the fridge to set – overnight if possible but if craving chocolate or sweet goodness you can eat them straight away  – well drink them more than eat them 🙂
  • I froze a couple of the mango coconut ones as it was 34 degrees today and whilst they were a bit icy straight out of the freezer, they were great and very refreshing once they’d had a minute to defrost

Experiment with all different fruits for the coconut mouse – I love mango, but a fresh/frozen berry combination would be just as good. Most fruits go with coconut, so play away! Alternatively, try adding a tbsp of almond butter to the chocolate banana mousse for a “peanut” butter cup
