Kick that Cough Green Juice

Paleo – serves 4

My throat hurts.. a lot. I blame lack of my morning cold pressed juice last week, travel on aeroplanes and lack of sleep. Unfortunately the only part of that I can control this week is the green juice bit – so I needed to step it up a notch. I’ll let my recovery be the judge of the quality of this juice. Thanks Jules for the tip on kiwifruit – did you know they have more vitamin C than oranges, and are full of antioxidants which can help protect against respiratory problems? Wish I’d known that last week 🙂


  • 1/2 bunch celery
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 thumb knob of fresh ginger
  • 1 lime
  • 3 kiwi fruit
  • 50g spinach
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper


  • Put everything through the cold pressed juice. Don’t strain – you want all the slightly chucky bits for this juice
  • Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and serve/bottle
