Thai Style Chicken Wings with Cauliflower Fried Rice

Jazz up your chicken wings with this amazing thai style recipe and serve with some of the best cauliflower fried rice I have tasted. I love chicken wings but this sauce takes them to a whole new level and the fried rice can be completely mistaken for the real thing it is just amazing! Although the wings take a little time to cook everything else is surprisingly simple and easy to prepare. I have had cauliflower fried rice many a times before but this was my first time making it and it was so easy to make that I will be having this as a side dish on a regular basis from now on!

Serves: 2-4

Cooking Time: 1-1.5 hours (wings) 15mins (fried rice)


Thai Style Chicken Wings

  • 500g Chicken Wings
  • 1/3 Cup of sweet chilli sauce (Paleo recipe here)
  • 3 tbsp Coconut amino’s
  • 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Lime juice
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil

Cauliflower Fried Rice

  • 1/2 Cauliflower Head
  • 1 Large free range egg
  • 6 Spring Onions (cut in 1/2 inch pieces)
  • 3 Cloves of garlic (crushed)
  • 2 Cups of bean shoots
  • 1 Small brown onion (diced)
  • 3 tbsp Coconut amino’s
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil


Thai Style Chicken Wings

  1. Place all the ingredients apart from the Chicken wings into a bowl and mix thoroughly together.
  2. Grab a baking tray and line with baking paper. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees.
  3. Grab the chicken wings and dip each one in the sauce covering entirely and then place on the tray skin side up.
  4. Use a brush and be sure to cover each wing with the extra sauce.
  5. Place wings in oven and cook for about 45mins – 1 hour or to your liking.
  6. Remove and serve with rice.

Cauliflower Fried Rice

  1. In a food processor blend cauliflower head until it resembles rice. Be sure not to over do it.
  2. Ih a pan heat up the sesame il over a medium heat and the add the cauliflower rice, brown onions, coconut amino’s and garlic and cook for 4-5 mins.
  3. Then add in the spring onion, bean shoots and crack the egg into the mix. You must continue stirring until egg is cooked through the rice.
  4. Remove from heat and serve with the thai style chicken wings.
